Effective July 1st 2011, the mileage rate 
has been increased to 70 cents per
mile.This is a 20 cent increase.
Daily rate & generator rate remains 
unchanged.At 6 miles per gallon we were 
losing money when gas went over $3.00.

Remember, by donating $500 to either 
the Van Replacement Fund or the Van
Maintenance Fund you still receive a 
free rental day.

We're delighted to have you visit us to learn about, and perhaps make use of, this wonderful service. The Lions Mobile Sight & Hearing Unit (or just "LMSHU" for short) has been serving southeast Virginia for over 30 years and in that time has traveled over 100,000 miles and screened over 100,000 people for vision, hearing, or blood sugar - and we have no intention of letting up!

We've added information on our history, a description of our van and it's capabilities, how we use it and schedule it on the following pages. There will be more in the future as we develop more stuff and get some feedback. Our contact page is operational, so feel free to use it to contact us and seek more information and give us some constructive feedback on our site.
